Matthew is the Pulpit Minister at the Dayton Church of Christ in Dayton, TN. He received a B.A. in Bible and a Master of Divinity from Freed-Hardeman University. He has previously served as the Youth Minister at the Great Oaks Church of Christ in Memphis, TN.

Matthew and his wife Claire have been married since 2018 and have one daughter, Eleanor. They enjoy audiobooks, the mountains of East Tennessee, and keeping up with their busy baby.
