Exodus 3-6: The Call of Moses p.1

Moses finds himself discouraged after his failure to deliver his people, and he is exiled to the land of Midian. While tending his father-in-law’s sheep, Moses stumbles upon a strange sight: a bush that is burning, but it is not consumed. The Lord has a mission for Moses.

Exodus 1-2: Growth and Bondage

We find the children of Israel in Egyptian Bondage. There is a new Pharaoh who does not know the Lord. Moses, a young Hebrew man raised by Pharaoh’s daughter, looks upon the suffering of his fellow Hebrews and attempts to deliver them.

Moses take his first steps in obedience of God’s commission. He will win over the Hebrew people and approach Pharaoh. However, Pharaoh’s heart is hard and he will not listen to the words of the Lord.
